Meeting Audit & Assurance Challenges
A high quality audit utilizes a high degree of business skill, technical knowledge and objectivity, enabling the auditor to act with integrity and and healthy dose of professional skepticism. As auditors, we must keep pace with the fast-paced changes that make the environment in which we practice so challenging. These changes include increased globalization, technological shifts, increased stakeholder demands as well as rigorous regulatory oversight. Because of the judgments, understanding, and communications required, an audit is a highly subjective process that depends on the quality of the people performing the service.
We put together the right teams
Utilizing a proven system, we deploy a consistent, high-quality audit, putting in place dynamic teams with the key capabilities in order to address the specific issues and challenges you face. Our people work together to give you the benefit of our deep industry knowledge, our full subject matter expertise as well as the latest insights from our projects worldwide.
We ask the right questions
As auditors, it is our role to ask the difficult questions, challenge assumptions and voice our concerns. These actions are important to providing high-quality audits. The resulting value to audit sponsors is that they can confidently rely on the results of our work.
We build strong internal controls
An important aspect of our process is monitoring our performance. Under our internal inspection program, we inspect completed audits using teams made up of individuals who were not involved with the audit. Among other things, the inspection teams consider the appropriateness of the judgments reached by the audit teams and look for instances where audit quality objectives were not fully achieved.
